Great place to enjoy a very reasonably priced meal that includes soup and a salad bar. If you come early before 4 you can enjoy soup, salad and a sandwich of your choice for under $10 A truly great value! Its no wonder so many seniors on a fixed income come here! Great job

Came here and received very rude customer service from a young lady whose breath smelled like alcohol. The food tasted like the air in this place, very nasty. The manager insists everything is “delicious.” We’ve been here twice, and this will definitely be the last time, because the food literally tastes like the air there.

I've been eating at this restaurant since it was in it's old location in Mentor and it's my number one spot for breakfast! I just tried the sausage gravy and biscuits today for the 1st time and it was awesome just like their home fries , pancakes and my favorite burger , The Mentor Avenue burger which is loaded with stuff on it ! The fries are always crispy , like they are coated . And my favorite waitress is V. She treats you like family and we love her ! You don't find waitresses like her anymore, and I would know. I was in food management for most of my working life.

Jennifer waitress, did well, friendly and kept coffee coming along with extra napkins. Splenda was a knock off. Omelette was awesome, with the works omelette. Chose grits instead of home fries. Grits can't be treated like cream of wheat. Needs less water, more thickness. Added salt, pepper, and butter. Everything was great otherwise. They had a breakfast buffet here with many choices including fruit, waffles, pancakes, biscuits and gravy.

Our server Vee was an absolute delight. We were so well taken care of that we will definitely return. The food was fabulous and quite reasonably priced. Fish fry with unlimited soup and salad for less than $12 is unheard of in this area. 🥰

On today's episode of EVIE EATS ❤️ Mentor Avenue Family Restaurant in Painesville! Missy and I had no idea what to eat and I had remembered passing this spot many times on our trips to Target & Trader Joes. Today was the day! A little chilly outside so a diner sounded perfect. We ordered...a lot. This is what happens when we skip breakfast. 1. Mentor Avenue burger with soup & salad bar 2. Tuna melt & fries 3. Club sandwich with soup and salad Soups: Chicken noodle, cabbage vegetable, & beef barley. The pictures speak for the quality. Everything was cooked perfectly and my ONLY complaint is I didnt save room for their tres leches cake. Everything tasted exactly how I hoped. Mahalo Chelle for the great & friendly service!!
